Review of The Little Giant of Aberdeen County by Tiffany Baker

This is the story of Truly who is born big and spends her life just growing bigger and bigger. She has a sister (Serena Jane) who is beautiful and has the perfect life. The total opposite of what Truly has had to face her whole life. But about a third of the way through the book you realise that everything isnt perfect for Serena Jane and Truly eventually realises that many of the things in her life were not as bad as she thought.
I really enjoyed reading this book and I am glad that my book club is reading it because I dont know if it would have been the kind of book I would have picked up on my own. There were times where I felt so sad for Truly, but there were many times when I was happy for her too. There were things in the book that made me feel for her and really like her. And there were parts of the book that I really couldnt stand her because she gets so wrapped up in herself and her anger and lets it spin out of countrol. But by the end of the book I like her and I am happy with the way the book ends too.
